Cira Nutrition
After testing products from Nutra Holdings, Inc., individually and dba Cira Nutrition, we found three products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Nutra Holdings, Inc., individually and dba Cira Nutrition.
NOTICE
On September 14, 2023, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Nutra Holdings, Inc., individually and dba Cira Nutrition.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Nutra Holdings, Inc., individually and dba Cira Nutrition, contain lead and cadmium, chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
1. Cira Bright Vegan Protein Chocolate Protein Powder Drink Mix
2. Cira Bright Vegan Protein Vanilla Protein Powder Drink Mix
3. Cira Pre-Game Pre-Workout Peach Bellini
NOTICE II
On September 28, 2023, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Nutra Holdings, Inc., individually and dba Cira Nutrition.
