Featured News: The New BPA?

Today, we are featuring a story straight from Environmental Health News regarding BADGE. BADGE stands for bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether. You might recognize part of that name, specifically bisphenol-A, or BPA. Most of us have likely seen BPA-free on a plastic water bottle or other food storage containers in the last few years and understood that there was a reason we wouldn’t want it in our food. Indeed, BPA is thought to not only be an endocrine-disrupter but to potentially contribute to several forms of cancers as well. BADGE is a no different. Unfortunately, while it carries a similar risk to BPA, there isn’t enough attention on its health impacts and dangers to center it in the public eye.
