ADVANCED NUTRITION, Inc.
After testing some products from Advanced Nutrition Inc, individually and dba Advanced Nutrition by Zahler, we found one product we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Advanced Nutrition Inc, individually and dba Advanced Nutrition by Zahler.
NOTICE
On July 22, 2021, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Advanced Nutrition Inc, individually and dba Advanced Nutrition by Zahler.
In this action, ERC alleges that one specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by Advanced Nutrition Inc, individually and dba Advanced Nutrition by Zahler contains lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and exposes consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The Product under investigation is:
1. Advanced Nutrition by Zahler Lactivate Advanced Lactation Support
NOTICE II
On August 12, 2021, Environmental Research Center filed a second Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Advanced Nutrition Inc, individually and dba Advanced Nutrition by Zahler.
In this action, ERC alleges that four more specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Advanced Nutrition Inc, individually and dba Advanced Nutrition by Zahler contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
1. Advanced Nutrition by Zahler Multi Vitamin Energy
2. Advanced Nutrition by Zahler Multi Vitamin Digestion
3. Advanced Nutrition by Zahler StressMaster
4. Advanced Nutrition by Zahler Revolution Potent Urinary Tract Formula
JUDGEMENT
A judgement was reached on May 10, 2022. In full satisfaction of all potential civil penalties, additional settlement payments, attorney's fees, and costs, Advanced Nutrition, Inc. shall make a total payment of $20,000.00 to ERC.
