Garnea, LLC

After testing products from Garnea, LLC, we found three products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Garnea, LLC.

NOTICE

On October 28, 2022 Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Garnea, LLC.

In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Garnea, LLC., contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

1. Wella Bar Cranberry Crunch Chilled Organic Protein Bar - Lead

2. Wella Bar Almond Blueberry Chilled Organic Protein Bar – Lead

3. Wella Organics Cashew Chai & Maca Bar – Lead

NOTICE II

On November 10, 2022 Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Garnea, LLC.

In this action, ERC alleges that one more specific product manufactured, distributed, or sold by Garnea, LLC., contains lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and exposes consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The product under investigation is:
