Fuel for Fire

After testing products from Fuel For Fire, Inc., we found 5 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Fuel For Fire, Inc.


NOTICE I

On January 19, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Fuel For Fire, Inc.

In this action, ERC alleges that two specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Fuel For Fire, Inc., contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. Fuel For Fire 10g Plant Protein Fruit Smoothie Chocolate Strawberry - Lead

  2. Fuel For Fire 10g Protein Fruit Smoothie Banana Cocoa - Lead


NOTICE II

On January 26, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Fuel For Fire, Inc.

In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Fuel For Fire, Inc., contain PFAS chemicals, chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. Fuel For Fire 10g Plant Protein Fruit Smoothie Chocolate Strawberry - Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA), Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)

  2. Fuel For Fire 10g Protein Fruit Smoothie Banana Cocoa - Perfluorooctanoic Acid & (PFOA), Perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA)

  3. Fuel For Fire 10g Protein Fruit Smoothie Mixed Berry - Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA)
