Wonder Drink Kombucha
After testing products from Pure Steeps Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Wonder Drink Kombucha; Harris Freeman & Co., Inc., individually and dba Pure Steeps Beverage and Wonder Drink Kombucha, we found 3 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Pure Steeps Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Wonder Drink Kombucha; Harris Freeman & Co., Inc., individually and dba Pure Steeps Beverage and Wonder Drink Kombucha.
NOTICE I
On November 28, 2023, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Pure Steeps Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Wonder Drink Kombucha and Harris Freeman & Co., Inc., individually and dba Pure Steeps Beverage and Wonder Drink Kombucha.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Pure Steeps Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Wonder Drink Kombucha and Harris Freeman & Co., Inc., individually and dba Pure Steeps Beverage and Wonder Drink Kombucha contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and a reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
