Life Equals, LLC.
After testing products from Life Equals, LLC., we found SIX products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 due to lead and mercury contamination. Below is the timeline of events for the case between ERC and Life Equals, LLC, individually and dba Balance the Superfood Shot.
NOTICE I
On June 17, 2021, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Life Equals, LLC, individually and dba Balance the Superfood Shot.
In this action, ERC alleges that SIX specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Life Equals, LLC., contain lead and mercury, chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to lead and mercury at levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
1. The Superfood Shot Energy Blend Balance
2. The Superfood Shot Active Blend Balance
3. The Superfood Shot Immunity Blend Balance
4. The Superfood Shot Foundation Blend Balance
5. The Superfood Shot Turmeric Blend Balance
6. The Superfood Shot Digestion Blend Balance
