Go Macro, LLC
After testing products from Go Macro, LLC, we found 13 products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Go Macro, LLC.
NOTICE I
On January 5, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Go Macro, LLC.
In this action, ERC alleges that four specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Go Macro, LLC contain lead and cadmium, chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
GoMacro MacroBar Everlasting Joy Coconut + Almond Butter + Chocolate Chips - Lead
GoMacro MacroBar Heartwarming Retreat Oatmeal Chocolate Chip – Lead, Cadmium
GoMacro MacroBar Protein Pleasure Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip - Lead
GoMacro MacroBar Smooth Sanctuary Double Chocolate + Peanut Butter Chips - Lead
