Food Recall: Beef & E. Coli

Th U.S. Department of Food Safety and Inspection Services announced that about 7,000 pounds of raw ground beef produced by Valley Meats, LLC on December 22, 2023, may be contaminated with E. coli.

The meat was shipped to distributers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan.

Earlier last month, on December 11, 563 pounds of beef were recalled in the state of Colorado. This meat was produced by Scanga Meat Company.
