Featured News: Food Recall!

We wanted to give you the details on the recent food recall by Tyson Foods! As you might know, over 30,000 pounds of chicken nuggets were recalled due to pieces of metal found within the patties. Specifically, this was a recall of their dino nuggies in 29-ounce bags. Here are the lot numbers included: 2483BRV0207, 2483BRV0208, 2483BRV0209, and 2483BRV0210, and have the establishment number P-7211.

These products were shipped to Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin and were likely distributed more widely from there. The chicken has the “best if used by” date of Sept. 4, 2024. Tyson voluntarily notified the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service department of the issue this past Saturday.

There has, so far, been one oral injury known to the USDA. Consumers are encouraged to toss or return their nuggets to the place of purchase.
