The Rise of Plastic Pollution
At a time when reducing our plastic waste and global emissions is at an all-time high, the US is anticipating the creation and/or the expansion of over 27 new plastic-creating plants. What are we doing? The Environmental Integrity Project has put together a report discussing how, not only is this happening when it definitely should not, but we, the taxpayers, are paying for it. Billions of dollars are going towards increasing our plastics pollution output. Billions! What happened to turning plastic waste off at the tap?
