Judee’s Gluten Free, L.L.C.
After testing products from Terra Companies LLC, individually and dba Judee’s; Judee’s Gluten Free LLC, f/k/a Gluten Free You and Me LLC, individually and dba Judee’s., we found three products we allege to be in violation of Proposition 65 in regards to lead contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Terra Companies LLC, individually and dba Judee’s; Judee’s Gluten Free LLC, f/k/a Gluten Free You and Me LLC, individually and dba Judee’s.
NOTICE
On January 13, 2022, Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Terra Companies LLC, individually and dba Judee’s; Judee’s Gluten Free LLC, f/k/a Gluten Free You and Me LLC, individually and dba Judee’s.
In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by Terra Companies LLC, individually and dba Judee’s; Judee’s Gluten Free LLC, f/k/a Gluten Free You and Me LLC, individually and dba Judee’s., contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
1. Judee's Gluten Free Cassava Flour
2. Judee's Psyllium Husk Powder
3. Judee's Sorghum Flour
On June 14 , 2022, Environmental Research Center filed a second Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Terra Companies LLC, individually and dba Judee’s; Judee’s Gluten Free LLC, f/k/a Gluten Free You and Me LLC, individually and dba Judee’s.
