VNGR Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Poppi

After testing products, we found 10 products from VNGR Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Poppi that we allege are in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Poppi.

NOTICE I

On August 14, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Poppi.

In this action, ERC alleges that 5 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Poppi, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and a reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

1. Poppi Watermelon Prebiotic Soda - Lead

2. Poppi Orange Prebiotic Soda - Lead

3. Poppi Classic Cola Prebiotic Soda - Lead

4. Poppi Ginger Lime Prebiotic Soda - Lead

5. Poppi Grape Prebiotic Soda – Lead

On August 30, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Poppi.

In this action, ERC alleges that 5 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Poppi, contain lead and mercury, chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as reproductive toxins, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

1. Poppi Root Beer Prebiotic Soda – Lead, Mercury

2. Poppi Raspberry Rose Prebiotic Soda – Lead, Mercury

3. Poppi Cherry Limeade Prebiotic Soda – Lead, Mercury

4. Poppi Doc Pop Prebiotic Soda – Lead, Mercury

5. Poppi Strawberry Lemon Prebiotic Soda – Lead, Mercury
