Poppi
After testing products, we found ten products from VNGR Beverage, LLC, individually and dba Poppi that we allege are in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and Poppi.
NOTICE I
On August 14, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Poppi.
In this action, ERC alleges that 5 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Poppi, contain lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as a carcinogen and a reproductive toxin, and expose consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning.
The products under investigation are:
Poppi Watermelon Prebiotic Soda - Lead
Poppi Orange Prebiotic Soda - Lead
Poppi Classic Cola Prebiotic Soda - Lead
Poppi Ginger Lime Prebiotic Soda - Lead
Poppi Grape Prebiotic Soda – Lead
