After testing products from Life Time, Inc., individually and dba LTH, we found 4 products we allege to violate Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and LTH.


NOTICE I

On March 26 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Life Time, Inc., individually and dba LTH.

In this action, ERC alleges that 1 specific product, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Life Time, Inc., individually and dba LTH, contains lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. OHS Optimal Health Systems Optimal Fruit & Veggie Plus – Lead


NOTICE II

On April 11, 2025, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against Life Time, Inc., individually and dba LTH.

In this action, ERC alleges that 3 specific products, manufactured, distributed, or sold by Life Time, Inc., individually and dba LTH, contains lead, a chemical listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogenic and a reproductive toxin, exposing consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. LTH Vegan + All-In-One Naturally Flavored Vanilla with Other Natural Flavors Fuel - Lead

  2. Life Time Fitness Life Greens Naturally Flavored Café Mocha - Lead

  3. LTH Life Greens Naturally Flavored Double Chocolate with Other Natural Flavors– Lead
