After testing products, we found 3 products from TB12, Inc. we allege are in violation of Proposition 65 regarding heavy metal contamination. Below is the timeline of events of the case between ERC and TB12.


NOTICE I

On September 6, 2024, the Environmental Research Center filed a Notice of Violation of California Law Proposition 65, against TB12.

In this action, ERC alleges that three specific products manufactured, distributed, or sold by TB12 contain lead and cadmium, chemicals listed under Proposition 65 as carcinogens and reproductive toxins. It exposes consumers to levels requiring a Proposition 65 warning. 

The products under investigation are:

  1. TB12 Plant-Based Protein Bar Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Flavored – Lead

  2. TB12 Plant-Based Protein Bar Turmeric Cashew Honey - Lead

  3. TB12 Plant-Based Protein Bar Chocolate Cacao Crunch – Lead, Cadmium
